Classroom of the Future

If the Experimental Sandbox can be considered an alpha environment, the Classroom of the Future is its beta counterpart. Lessons learned in the sandbox space can help inform the requirements for the classroom of the future space. This project is focused on synthesizing student and faculty feedback to build a next-generation learning environment that engages learners in an open and flexible space that encourages active learning and greater learner autonomy. While technology will certainly be an enabler of these rich learning experiences, the design of the classroom of the future must be based on scientific methods led by explicit outcomes committee participants generate.
